Facilities: There are no public toilets on the reserve, there are toilet facilities for the use of Moss & Moor and McDonald customers
Accessibility: The reserve is accessible for those who have difficulty walking the paths are generally level especially allong the river bank path where there are 4 wooden benches about 60-70m apart. We are in the process of improving the main paths with stone chippings. The riverside path is suitable for more confident and accompanied wheel chair users with appropriate tyres.
Dogs: This is a nature reserve so please bear that in mind if you wish to bring a dog. 2 cygnets were killed by a dog on the reserve in 2020 so compliance is something we take very seriously for all dog walkers. The dog must be on a lead (preferably short one) and under close control at all times so as not to disturb wildlife and others. You must be in a possession of a poo bag and clear up after your dog and take it with you ( there are no bins) These rules are enforced by Bradford Council's Public Space Protection Order with clear signs. Anyone who doesn't comply will be requested to leave and evidence forwarded to the council who will take enforcement action with fines of up to £1,000
